Peer Recovery Specialists in Orange County Make Multiple Community Appearances

On June 9th, the sponsored a peer workforce training event in Orange County, CA. It was attended by 83 participants and offered 12 Workshops and 10 vendor resource tables, including ¥. Some of the workshops included Aimee Dunkle of presenting “Fentanyl & Narcan Training” and “Wellness Through Technology” by Min Suh of .

Working the resource fair and representing ¥’s Orange County programs were Lori Fischer and Lei Portugal Calloway from Orange County AOT, who are both Medi-Cal California Certified Peers. Also pictured below are Orange County Health Care Agency representatives, Pacific Clinics/Recovery Education Institute employees, and attendees.
